Our new Appetizer model is a fidget-friendly non-locking folder that’s just shy of 4.5″ overall with a sub-2″ blade. In addition to many of our style and finish options this model also includes a modular backspacer component.

After a bunch of certainty we’re happy to say that Blade Show in 2021 in Atlanta, GA is definitely happening and we will definitely be attending. You’ll find us in a new spot, Booth #612, which will be on your left through the second walk-way after the entrance. This year for the show special exclusive/limited … Continue reading Blade Show 2021

To make custom Timascus pivot collars we typically buy oversized Timascus rod then manually lathe it down to size. The reason for this is the large variation in how collars are done on all the different models. Usually this rod material is about one inch or slightly more in diameter. It is not a cheap … Continue reading Sunrise Inlays

We are working on a small batch of our custom linerlocks, this time with CTS-XHP blade steel. So far this is limited to the Wayfarer Classic (4″ blade) model. Contact us directly or fill out the build your own form if you’re interested and want to get started.

Following the similarly styled Wayfarer 247 (August 2019) and Busker (May 2019), the latest limited exclusive with CountyComm is the Whippersnapper. This variant is limited to just 24 pieces in each blade style and is serialized xx/24 (on the inside, unlike standard Whippersnappers). The main distinguishing feature is three prominent curved fullers in show side … Continue reading Whipsnap CC Limited

One of the most sought-after exotic steels is Bertie Rietveld’s Damascus. Perfected over decades, his steel is unique and offered in very limited quantities. We scored some at Blade Show and used it for a matching set of knives pictured here. You’ll see that there are two different patterns, they are called “Dragonskin” and “Nebula”. … Continue reading Exotic Damascus

A few times a year we make a few of these neck knives. They are mini fixed blades in a number of different designs. Because there are so many potential styles (shapes) we don’t give them official model names. Each batch has 3-5 designs with each design being limited to about 8 pieces. We very … Continue reading Stag Neck Knives

After working with an outside contractor for Gunkote application we decided to bring the process in-house. So far we are very happy with the results and can offer quicker turnaround time. We decided to use 2400 Series Gunkote (by KG Industries) after experimenting with a number of other coatings.

Just in time for Blade Show we completed a few knives with a brand new steel. What you’re seeing is our proprietary in-house High Carbon Vanadium Damascus but with Mokume-style layers of copper and nickel. This is a new process for us that took months and months of trial and error to formulate. Just a … Continue reading Mokume Damascus

We have recently added a brand new Hand Carved Series. It is called Art Homage and the idea here is to use hand carving to pay respect to famous art styles, images, painters, sculptors, and the like. The first such piece is a Busker pictured here. It is done in Art Nouveau style, paying homage … Continue reading Art Homage

A limited run of compound grind Tanto and Sheepscliffe blades for the 247 is now available. This is a hollow grind and the style is inherited from our original linerlock Wayfarer and Wayfarer Compact models. You can use the Wayfarer 247 build form to reserve yours.
