Olamic Trade-in Program (2020)
That knife you have can become the knife you want.
Wait, really?
Yes. Two years ago we launched a trade-in program for the Wayfarer 247, and now we're extending it to the Busker model as well. If you have either of the two models you can have it go towards a brand new build of either a Busker or a Wayfarer 247. The program is focused on the trade-in of plain jane variants, but any variant is welcome. However, the maximum trade-in value is the MSRP of a plain jane version, regardless whether the trade-in knife is a plain jane or not. The dollar amount (value) goes towards a brand new custom build of your choice.
What's eligible?
Plain jane builds of the Busker and the Wayfarer 247. That means the handle finish is light blast, dark blast, or stonewash. Eligibility is not limited by blade shape, hardware anodizing, or pocket clip style. All other non-plain versions are eligible as well but please keep in mind that their trade-in value will be the same as a plain one (see below). How you acquired the knife does not matter (you don't have to be the original owner) but please don't start stealing other peoples' knives. The knife can be used, but please no destructive third-party modifications.
So, what now?
To get started fill out and submit the form on this page, doing so is not a commitment to anything. We'll get back to you within a couple of days about the new build process or answer any questions. Once the new build spec is determined you'll know its price and subsequently the difference amount that you'd owe. Then if you'd like to proceed you'll send the knife in and once it arrives we'll get started. Once your new one is complete, you'll see photos, approve, pay the difference, and get a tracking number.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will the process take?
Usually it takes a couple of days to zero in on what your new knife will look like. Then we'll need 5-7 days to build it. Factor in shipping time and barring any cataclysmic events you should have your new knife within three weeks.
Will I always have this option now?
No. This iteration of the trade-in program runs from August 1st, 2020 until December 31st, 2020.
Can I trade in one model for the other?
Yes. You can trade in a Busker to get a Wayfarer 247 or trade in a Wayfarer 247 to get a Busker. Or a Busker to get a Busker or a Wayf– you get the idea.
Do you need proof of purchase?
No. It does not matter how or where you got the trade-in candidate, as long as it was by legal means.
Can I participate if I'm outside the U.S.?
Yes. Naturally there will be additional shipping costs, but we'll work it out.
Will the knife I get be new?
Yes. The knife you get will be a brand new, built for you, and if you'd like we'll even put your name on it.
Is shipping included?
Shipping via UPS 2nd Day Air of the new knife to you is included. Shipping of the trade-in knife to us is not covered.
