New Material: Shred Carbon Fiber

This last weekend at the Pasadena Knife Expo I was able to see and catch up with the guys at Tru-Grit. We have been buying all our belts and other supplies from them for years and couldn’t be happier with the service. On their table I saw a new-to-us material called Shred Carbon Fiber, they had it in both blue and red, and luckily in our size! It didn’t look like much unfinished in sheet form, but I could imagine just how amazing it will be once finished and instantly knew how to use it on our knives. Pictured here is the first knife we used it one, a custom Rainmaker model with satin finished Zirconium bolsters and clip. Carved and anodized titanium liners/backbar in bright electric blue complete the package.
