Every once in awhile we like to make something different, or at least new to us. In a way it’s something to challenge us. This particular batch of fixed blades is the latest iteration in that endeavor. We wanted to have that classic style of matching wood sheath and handle. Here we are using Hornbeam for that, which is a hardwood often used in Russian knifemaking. To balance the wood visually we have seamless, matching H.C.V.D. bolster and pommel. The blade is our in-house forged High Carbon Vanadium Damascus but clad on a high carbon core, San Mai style. Overall length is 11 7/8″ with a 5 7/8″ cutting edge. This model is limited to only 25 pieces, with each having a unique serial number stamped into the blade. They are available now in our store: Limited Edition Fixed Blade.
